Rebeca Becker2024-07-23I had a truly life-changing experience at Avalon Performance Therapy with Jose, the owner and Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. I’ve never met anyone so skilled, knowledgeable, and talented in his field. After battling a bad back for over ten years and seeing countless doctors who suggested spine injections, Jose’s evaluation blew me away. He carefully assessed every major muscle in my body, explaining everything as he went, to uncover WHY I’ve been in pain. Previous doctors and physical therapists were focused on masking the pain instead of addressing the root cause. I had been stuck in bed for days on and off, unable to walk, and Jose’s tests pinpointed the real cause—something no doctor or physical therapist had figured out. Mid-session, I started crying, which is so unlike me, because I was overwhelmed by his expertise and the hope it brought. I’m incredibly grateful to have found Jose and Maxine’s amazing practice; they are the answer I’ve been searching for the past decade, and I still can’t believe it! I am so looking forward to my upcoming sessions! Not to mention the entire place is great, beautifully decorated, clean, serene and super professional! If you suffer from back pain or related issues and need long lasting solutions, one that considers your overall health, and provides a genuine plan for improvement rather than just temporary relief, this is THE PLACE!!!jennifer chope2024-01-12After only 1 appointment I felt a difference!Deb Rink2024-01-03Jose knows how to teach you to keep your body in balance itself. All of the nagging aches that he has helped on my body are, low back pain, hip tightness and aching, shoulder pain, and neck tightness and pain. I went to Jose first time after I was washing my foot in the shower and my back went out. I couldn’t walk or find any comfortable position to ease the pain. I walked out of his treatment the first time and actually had no pain in my back and could walk up stairs 3 floors. There was no soreness with his treatment or after the treatment. In the follow up appointment, he taught me a simple exercise with breathing that has kept my low back healthy since then. I have had a few exercises that are super simple and are custom made for my body and my aches and pains… every exercise has taken the pain away after the first time doing the exercise. Check out Jose if you have aches and pains. Maybe it’s not just age… maybe there is something you CAN DO to help.Vane2023-10-12Jose is amazing… but only go to him if you want to heal and feel better. He will make you feel better instantly. And is out patient care is exceptional. You get more then your moneys worth.
